Expense category setup issue – "Expense category is invalid or empty."

    In one or two of our D365 environments we have an issue which affects just one company, but not others.
    Although expense categories appear to be set up similarly in all the companies, in the UK one we get an error when we try to select any of the expense categories from the list: “Expense category is invalid or empty. To proceed, please select a valid expense category.”

    Any idea what is causing this?
